So, November is National Novel Writing Month, and I went ahead and signed up. The goal is to write a 50,000 word novel, from scratch, in November. While I already have a few unfinished novels, I decided that maybe I should just go ahead and write a third, finished, starter novel. The whole idea behind the project is to just do it, and getting things done is one of my weaker points. So, I am going to write a novel from scratch this November.

As I understand it, you're not allowed to put pen to paper (or, it follows, fingers to keyboard) before 12:01 AM on November 1, but I am thinking that my novel will tell the tale of a megalomaniac molecular biologist. Hopefully it will be AWESOME! but I will settle for COMPLETE. Rock on.

Hi, koo.

I am not committing to writing a haiku every day anymore (see evidence below...) but, just for fun, here are two that I composed this morning.

Wrong Haiku

The right seventeen
syllables eluded me.
Please accept these ones.

A Haiku in an Orange Jacket

In my orange trenchcoat,
I feel like a traffic cone.
Cars, get out my way!!
